Terms and conditions of use of services of Kansino - Version 1.12. Effective as of 28/11/2023.




1.1. The website kansino.nl is operated and managed by Play North Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and is licensed and regulated by the Netherlands Gambling Authority in virtue of an issued on 01/10/2021.

1.2. Play North Ltd. is a limited liability company incorporated in Malta and subject to Maltese law, registration number C86563, having its registered address Level 1, The Centre, Tigne Point, Sliema, TPO0001, Malta.

1.3. To make use of the games of chance offered by the Company, you must first register as a player. Please be aware that underage gambling is illegal. No individuals below the age of 18 years are allowed to register. These Terms & Conditions constitute a binding agreement between you (also referred to as the “player”) and the Company, and are effective from when you accept these terms by ticking the box of acceptance at the beginning of your journey on with kansino.nl. These terms apply to all devices used to access the games of chance offered. You must read these Terms and Conditions carefully in their entirety before you accept them, as by clicking the checkbox you proclaim that you have read and are in absolute agreement with them. We also advise you to familiarise yourself with our Policies as well.

1.4. If you do not understand certain parts of our Terms and Conditions, please contact our customer support through live chat, phone or email.

1.5. These Terms and Conditions are in line with Dutch law and the Netherlands Gambling Authority. Disputes related to the Terms and Conditions or their infringement shall be resolved in a Dutch court and according to the laws of the Netherlands.

1.6. The Company reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions. Any changes to our Terms & Conditions will be communicated to you upon login, and you shall be asked to accept the new terms. Please note that you shall not be allowed to play unless you have accepted the new version of the Terms & Conditions, however, you shall be allowed to withdraw your existing account balance subject to the Terms and Conditions that you had last agreed to.

1.7. These Terms & Conditions may be published in several languages, reflecting the same principles, for information purposes and to help players. In case of any discrepancy between the Dutch version and the non-Dutch version of these Terms and Conditions, the Dutch version shall be the prevailing version in the case of conflict.


2.1. By accepting these Terms and Conditions and proceeding to register, you hereby truthfully warrant and declare that you:

2.1 are at least 18 years of age, are not under any legal supervision or guardianship and that you are legally competent;

2.2 are not registered in CRUKS and that you do not and have never suffered from problem gambling and shall make use of kansino.nl only for entertainment purposes;

2.3 are not a Politically Exposed Person (PEP) or closely associated with a PEP or related to a PEP;

2.4 are not on the United Nations, EU or any other sanctions lists;

2.5 shall only access kansino.nl from the Netherlands and shall not mask your IP address by using a VPN, proxy or otherwise;

2.6 shall only play from your own player account, in your own name and at your own risk and and you shall not provide, transfer, or sell your login credentials to your Player Account to another person or gain access to others’ Player Accounts through any manner.

2.7 that you shall take due care with the means of identification for login, take all reasonable measures to prevent its use by third parties and, to this end, if you suspect that someone else has accessed your account you shall promptly inform the Company and acknowledge that the Company is not responsible for any possible account access by a third party, such party’s misuse and any resulting damages;

2.8 shall not use your registration or allow for your account to be used to launder money or finance terrorism or for the violation of sanctions orders or for to collude or commit fraud or misuse the licensed games of chance for any other unlawful purpose.

2.9 that you have duly taken note of the following:

2.9.1 the games of chance that the Company offers, including the characteristics, the winning chances and the associated risks and that you are aware that when participating in the games of chance with real money, you may either win it or lose it.

2.9.2 the Company’s Responsible Gaming Policy and the individuals who must not be offered any Games of Chance as specified in such Policy.

2.9.3 the Company’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy

2.9.4 the Company’s Complaints Policy

2.9.5 the Company’s licence, geographical address, contact details and the contact details of the customer service.

2.10 are not an employee or manager or shareholder or of the Company or an entity within the group structure of the Company or a third party provider to the Company;

2.11 are not using add-ons, cheats or other illegal practices to gain an advantage in the games of chance. The Company reserves the right to cancel all winnings won through cheating and to close down the Player Account in question;

2.12 shall be courteous to the Company’s employees irrespective of the communication channel used such as email, chat or phone and avoid the use of any offensive language towards employees or other players as the case may be;

2.13 that the information you have provided is correct and up-to- date and acknowledge that the Company reserves the right to terminate your registration and close your player account in the event of an untruthful declaration or declaration that is no longer valid, up to date or incomplete whether partially or in full.


3.1 You are required to register on the Website to create a Player Account. The Company shall collect the following information on You, your:

  • Last name
  • First Names
  • Date of Birth
  • Place of Birth
  • BSN Number
  • Residential Address
  • IBAN Number
  • Email Address
  • Telephone Number
  • A scan of the identity document you choose to provide, and the data contained therein.

3.2 Upon verification of your details, your Player Account will be formed. In case of any fails in the verification process, then no Player Account shall be formed.

3.3 Only one Player Account is permitted by the Company per Player.

3.4 The Company reserves the right to perform background checks on you and to request any relevant documentation such as further identification documents or source of funds proof from you or third party sources to verify your identity, financial transactions, financial standing, source of wealth, source of funds and/or gaming activity and failure to provide the Company with requested documents, or if the information or the documents provided are found to be false or misleading, the Company reserves the right to block or close your Player Account.

3.5 Any information you provide or your failure to provide any documentation may result in disclosure to governmental or regulatory authorities to enable the Company to comply with its legal obligations- for more information on how your data might be processed, please see the Company’s Privacy Policy.


4.1 All payments over the website are managed and collected by the Company;

4.2 There is no inactivity fee charged by the Company, an account is considered inactive if the player has not logged into their account for more than 12 months.

4.3. A player can close their account at any time. You can close your account by contacting customer support, via live chat, phone or email. Please withdraw the funds from your account before closing it.


5.1 Deposits can be made only via iDEAL through Trustly. Successful deposits are immediately visible in the player’s account. If the deposit takes longer to reach the account, please contact customer support via live chat, phone or email.

5.2 All deposits are final and cannot be cancelled. It is not possible to request refunds.

5.3 Transactions between players are not possible and are not permitted. You are not allowed to transfer funds from your Player Account to other Players or to receive funds from other Players into your Player Account.

5.4 You may participate in any game of chance offered on kansino.nl only if you have enough funds on your Player Account for such participation. The Company is not a financial institution and cannot offer credit to Players. Nor does the Company pay any interest on any balances available on the Player’s Account.

5.5 The Company reserves the right to use additional procedures and means to verify your identity or request account or payment verification both before and after effecting deposits into your Player Account.

5.6 You may only deposit money that is legally earned, belonging to you and using a payment method that is in your own name. The Company verifies this and if it is detected that you have attempted to use a payment method that is in another person's name, we reserve the right to close your account and seize the funds.

5.7 If you receive any funds in your Player Account that do not belong to you, then you are obliged to inform the customer support immediately. The funds will remain the Company’s property, and they will be transferred back to us from your account. If you were to have withdrawn these funds that do not belong to you before the Company has become aware of the error, whether this is due to a technical or human error or otherwise, such funds will constitute a debt owed by you to the Company and this is without prejudice to other legal remedies and actions that may be available to the Company.


6.1. Withdrawals shall only be performed to the specified and verified contra account. The only available withdrawal method is Trustly instant bank transfer.

6.2. The Company reserves the right to use additional procedures and means to verify your identity or request account or payment verification both before and after effecting withdrawals into your contra account.

6.3. Deposits are intended for gameplay. To determine whether a transaction is unusual, the Company reserves the right to cancel a withdrawal and request documentation on the source of funds if deposits are not (entirely) used for gameplay.

6.4. The amount of time that it takes for the withdrawal process to be completed depends on the banks you select to deposit and your contra account bank. The Company is not responsible for potential delays caused by payment service providers.

6.5. Every deposit must be wagered a minimum of one time before a withdrawal request can be made.


Kansino.nl may organise bonus promotions from time to time at their own discretion. The conditions of a bonus are laid down in the bonus conditions that apply to each individual bonus promotion as well as the Bonus Terms and Conditions.


8.1. The Company reserves the right to determine game availability as well as add and/or remove games from the website, change bet levels and modify the content of the website at any time.

8.2. Games take place in real time. The bet amount is immediately deducted from the player's account when the round begins, therefore we cannot issue refunds or cancel rounds that have already been played. If the player encounters connection issues during a game round, the round in question would be completed in the game server, therefore the bet is deducted from the player's balance and any winnings are added to the balance.

8.3. Kansino reserves the right to limit/refuse bets.

8.4. In the event of a system error, the round is cancelled.

8.5. If the outcome of the round cannot be resolved due to a system error, the bet is refunded to the player account.

8.6. If the game bet or outcome is incorrect, we reserve the right to cancel the winnings and bets for that game.

9.1 Reality Check

9.1.1. The Reality check feature helps you monitor your gaming activity at Kansino, and this is activated by default to your account at regular intervals of 60 minutes. A message will be displayed on your screen with details about how long you have been playing, how much you have spent/won and also offer a direct link to your transaction history and present you with the option to resume or exit the game.

9.1.2. At your discretion, these intervals could be changed, or the feature switched off from the ‘Responsible Gaming’ section in your account.

9.2 Limits

9.2.1. At registration, you have to apply financial limits to your Kansino account: (a) a daily/weekly/monthly deposit limit, (b) a daily/weekly/monthly time limit and (c) a maximum account balance limit. These limits are available to help you control your gambling. You may subsequently add and/or edit financial limits through the ‘Responsible Gaming’ section in your account or by contacting our customer support via live chat, phone or email. 

9.2.2. Should you wish to set additional limits we will gladly help you apply this to your account, however such limits can only be set through contacting our customer support via live chat, phone or email.

9.2.3. At any time, you may change or remove your limits on site or by contacting customer support. Increasing limits (allowing to play more) will take effect only after a 24 hours cool off period (or 7 days in the case of two consecutive increases), whereas decreasing your limits will take effect immediately after the change. Please see our Responsible Gaming Policy for detailed information on the account limits.

9.3 (Self-)Exclusion

9.3.1. You may at any time request that your Gambling Account be self-excluded for a definite or indefinite period of time. Requests should be made from the ‘Responsible Gaming’ section in your account or by contacting customer support via live chat, phone or email. Once you self-exclude, you will no longer be permitted to access your account for the period of time chosen.

9.3.2. Local self-exclusion is an option to close your account only for a period of time. This option is also available from the ‘Responsible Gaming’ section in your account where you have the following options:

  • 1 day
  • 7 days
  • 30 days

9.3.3. Regardless of the length of your self-exclusion period, once a self-exclusion period terminates, you will be allowed to commence wagering with the Company automatically.

9.3.4. Any self-exclusion, time out or similar action will be valid across all Websites operated by the Play North Ltd.

9.3.5 The Company is connected to CRUKS (Central Exclusion Register). You may register yourself here to nationally exclude yourself from all licensed operators for a period of 6 months.

9.3.6 The Company reserves the right to ask you to register in CRUKS should it become aware of excessive participation by you in games of chance, following its Addiction Prevention Policy. In case such an advice is not followed, The Company is obligated to report this to the Netherlands Gambling Authority, which can decide to register you in the register involuntarily.

9.3.7 During any period of exclusion, you will not be sent any direct marketing materials.


10.1. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Using payment information or funds that have been stolen, illegally obtained or which do not belong to you.
  • Money laundering and other criminal activity.
  • Deliberately changing bets to achieve benefits when meeting bonus wagering requirements.
  • Actively using bonus money to gain free rounds or levels in a game and then completing rounds with real money after the bonus money has expired or been cancelled, also called ‘bonus parking’.
  • Exploiting possible human or technical errors and using automated add-on programmes.

10.2. The Company prohibits player collusion and takes measures to prohibit the use of devices, such as robots, that distort normal game play.

10.3. The Company reserves the right to intervene in fraudulent activity immediately and without notice.

10.4. We are not responsible for any monetary losses that may arise from fraudulent activities.

10.5. We actively seek to prevent money laundering and fraudulent activities.

10.6. We may disclose your information to authorities if we discover or suspect illegal activity.

10.7. Damaging kansino.nl with viruses or spam or by other means is strictly prohibited, and such action will always be disclosed to the authorities.

10.8. Unauthorised use of Kansino content is prohibited.

10.9. Website and server attacks are prohibited.

10.10. Players are required to pay all costs and expenses that arise from breaches of these terms.


11.1. Kansino is not responsible for game-related server problems, stoppages, delays or technical malfunctions.

11.2. Kansino is in no way responsible for any damages or losses that are claimed or deemed to have occurred when using the site, including but not restricted to delays or interruptions in operations or transfers, data loss, corruption, communication or line error, targeted sabotage or situations caused by a virus.

11.3. In the event of a complete system malfunction, all bets shall be invalidated.

11.4. If a game round starts but fails and cannot be completed due to a system error, the bet will be refunded to the player's account. If the player no longer has an account, the bet will be refunded through other means.

11.5. If the outcome of a round cannot be seen due to a slow Internet connection or other technical faults, the round will be completed on the game server. The bet will be deducted from the player's balance and any winnings added to it automatically. If the round fails and cannot be completed, the bet is refunded to the player's account.


12.1. Play North Ltd. own the right of animations, avatars, images, background images, other graphics, photographs, video and audio clips, button icons, streaming data and downloadable materials available to you as a player and protected by international copyright law and intellectual property rights. These rights are owned by Play North Ltd., its affiliates and third-party licensors.

12.2. All product names, company names and logos mentioned or shown on our website are registered trademarks, service marks or trade names.

12.3. None of the material may be copied, distributed, republished, modified, uploaded, posted, or transmitted in any way except for private or personal use, which must have written consent from the Company.

13.3. Play North Ltd. is responsible for your personal data. A data protection officer (DPO) is appointed to oversee questions in relation to this privacy notice. 14.2. We use cookies to improve our service. A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded to a user's device when they are on our website. 14.3. If you do not accept the use of cookies, you should not use the website. Alternatively, you can use the site in ‘Incognito’ mode or in your browser's ‘Private Browsing’ mode. However, we cannot guarantee that the site will work properly in either of these modes.

Filing a complaint is free of charge through all communication channels.

15.2. All demands regarding money transfers must be presented to the company within three (3) months of the original transfer or payment being made, or of the time it should have been made. Otherwise, we reserve the right to ignore the demand at our own discretion.

15.3. If the outcome of a game is different on the user's screen than on the game server, the server's result stands.

15.4. Our customer support will confirm receipt of your complaint within 72 hours. A senior member of staff will review and address the complaint as soon as possible, and we will use the best available methods to resolve your complaint. Final decision will be given within 8 weeks by latest.

15.5. In the scenario where the complaint is not accepted for handling, you will be informed in writing about this decision within 7 days. Complaints that have already been addressed previously will not be handled again, the formal decision including argumentation will always be provided to you.

15.6.Any settlements following from a complaint will be settled within 72 hours after said settlement

15.8. We store all conversations and emails between the company and customers. To resolve disputes, these records may be handed over to the authorities.


16.1. The use of kansino.nl is the players’ personal choice. Use of services and participation is according to the players’ own free will and judgement, and at their own risk. The website services are meant for entertainment purposes only, and the players’ interest in the services and games should be for that sole purpose only.

16.2. Kansino does not guarantee any other uses for the website other than those mentioned in the Terms and Conditions.

16.3. Kansino is not responsible for losses, expenses or damages that have been caused directly or indirectly by using the website and participating in gambling.


17.1. All transactions from- and to the Company are monitored in accordance with the AML Act (Wwft) and any other applicable laws in the Netherlands.

17.2 Any unusual activity on your Account will be reported to the relevant authorities, including the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) in the Netherlands. We reserve the right to suspend or close your account if fraudulent or unusual activity has been noticed, in those cases any funds in the account are frozen.

17.3. The Company reserves the right to request additional documentation to establish the origin of the funds used on our website, in accordance with the AML Act (Wwft) and any other applicable laws in the Netherlands.

17.4. The Company reserves the right to suspend the account if documents are not received or do not meet legal requirements.

17.5. We reserve the right to disclose information about unusual money transfers or other activities to the responsible authorities in order to prevent money laundering.

17.6 In the case of unusual transactions, information is disclosed to the authorities. We may also close the account and freeze the transactions without disclosing information on the matter in question to the player.
