Responsible Gaming Policy

At Kansino we offer a safe environment to participate in the games of chance online and have fun! Games of chance is a form of entertainment and should remain so. This is not always the case for everyone, it is possible for some to experience problems due to excessive participation.

Responsible gaming is a priority at Kansino and that is why we would like to inform you about our Prevention Policy and the options for obtaining help.

Participating in the games of chance is not without risk. It is important to understand our shared responsibility. We offer a number of tools and options for you to keep your gaming behaviour under control at your own risk.

At Kansino, all employees are trained to recognize signs of problematic gambling behaviour, and we use automatic transaction monitoring to analyse gambling behaviour and intervene where necessary. If you are between 18 and 24 years old, we will be more concerned and may ask you questions more often.

Kansino has taken certain measures regarding playing limits for the 18-23 age group, namely:

- Loss Limit is set to a maximum of €400 per month.

- Time limit is set to a maximum of 4 hours per day.

You can still adjust your game limits via your account settings under "Responsible Gaming", as long as they fall within the criteria mentioned above.

With strict registration procedures, we prevent minors or self-excluded players from registering on our platform, and we check this with every login. Registrations cannot take place without verification of each player's identity, bank details and any registrations in CRUKS (Central Register Exclusion of Chance Games).

We offer you several tools to control your gaming behaviour yourself. This way, you can immediately start setting your limits when you register. At any time after that you can take a short time-out or lock yourself out for a certain time with us, or via CRUKS at all casinos licensed by the Netherlands Gaming Authority. Information about gambling, self-tests and other tools are available to everyone, we are happy to help you with this. Our customer service is available 24/7.

After registration, players are actively monitored on their gaming behaviour and contacted if we suspect that your gaming behaviour is or threatens to become problematic. It is possible that we request CRUKS to involuntarily register you with them, such registration is valid for a period of 6 months and applies to all casinos with a licence from the Netherlands Gaming Authority.

We have also listed several organizations here that can help you with professional, anonymous and/or online help.

We want to make sure that gambling is safe and entertaining for all our players.

Before you register with us, we would like to discuss the following points with you.

-Underage gambling is illegal. If you are playing, and you are responsible for minors in your household, we recommend that you make them aware about the risks involved in gambling. There are some software available that can help protect minors on your computer. Click here for more information: https://www.gratissoftware.nu/gratis-ouderlijk-toezicht-software.php

Kansino checks with every login and/or registration whether someone is actually of legal age. If you believe a minor is gambling at our casino, please let us know. Click here to contact our customer service.

-When you register an account, you must apply account limits: You indicate a time limit and the maximum number of deposits per day/week/month and the maximum balance allowed on your account. For example, by setting a maximum time limit, the game will stop when the limit is reached. This would allow you to keep control over your gambling behaviour. When you reach a limit, you cannot continue playing. Reducing limits takes effect immediately, increasing limits takes 7 days.

-Do not gamble while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This affects your mental state and prevents you from making responsible decisions.

-Do not gamble if you have had problems with addiction in the past. This does not have to have been a gambling addiction, but any form of addiction. 'Cross Addiction' is something that often happens, this means replacing or combining different addictions. If you have had previous experience with addiction, we do not recommend gambling.

-We also advise you not to gamble if you have any other psychological or mental problems. This too can affect the decisions you make during and/or after gambling. In this case, err on the side of caution.

-Would you like to know (before registering) what your own gambling behaviour is like? Or are you curious if your own gambling behaviour is still healthy? Then do the self-test here www.centrumvoorverantwoordspelen.nl/zelftest/ and ask for help where necessary.

Together we ensure that games of chance are fun and entertaining. Do you have further questions about Account limits, Responsible Gaming or need help with the tools? Contact our customer service here.
